I. Requirement Scenarios

Have you encountered the following two major pain points while managing the Active Directory:

1. Wasting a lot of time managing user accounts in the Active Directory, such as creating, changing, disabling, etc.

2. Manual management of user accounts often results in untimely changes in information (such as not disabling the account in time after an employee leaves), posing a security risk.

In response to this, Taysoon Company has developed the ALL2AD synchronization program, which automatically synchronizes enterprise organizational structure information and employee data from external data sources to the Active Directory, freeing administrators from low-value repetitive labor and keeping user data in the Active Directory up-to-date.

II. Main Features

1. One-way synchronization of data from external data sources (such as HR systems) to the Active Directory, without affecting the data at the source.

• When a new user is added to the external data source (such as an HR system), a user account is automatically created in AD.
  
• When user information in the external data source (such as an HR system) changes, the user information in AD is automatically updated.
  
• When an employee leaves in the external data source (such as an HR system), the user account is automatically disabled in AD and placed in a designated OU.
  
• (Optional) When an employee is deleted from the external data source (such as an HR system), the user account is automatically disabled in AD and placed in a designated OU.
  

2. Custom selection of user attribute fields to be synchronized.

3. (Optional) Support for synchronizing organizational structure to the Active Directory (displayed as OU level)

• Automatically create corresponding OU structure in the Active Directory based on the organizational structure information at the source.
  
• Automatically update the corresponding OU structure in the Active Directory when the organizational structure changes.
  
• User accounts are automatically created or moved in and out of the corresponding OU.
  

4. Run the synchronization program as a scheduled task, supporting synchronization every few minutes or once a day.

5. Detailed log records of the synchronization process (including normal operation logs and error logs).

III. Program Characteristics

1. Fast

Except for the first full synchronization, subsequent synchronizations are all differential, so the synchronization speed is fast.

2. Flexible

The program has multiple custom options and can flexibly adapt to various synchronization requirements.

3. Whether it's synchronizing a new Active Directory or synchronizing within an existing Active Directory, the program can adapt.

4. The program has been as generic as possible.

However, due to the variety of external data sources, the interface part with the external data source still needs some modifications according to the situation. (We already have interfaces for some external data sources, which can be used with this program after a little configuration).

Of course, there is another method, as long as you write all the data to be synchronized from the external data source into a database table in our system, our program can accomplish all the synchronization tasks.

The program offers two types of licenses, one is a perpetual license, and the other is an annual subscription license.

The perpetual license offers a year of free upgrades and technical support.

The annual subscription license provides free upgrades and technical support services during the subscription period.
